I created this documentary over the course of a year for my Year 9 English Enrichment project. Norman Hetherington was the mastermind behind Mr Squiggle & Friends, one of Australia’s most popular and longest running children’s television shows, as well as a large part of my childhood. Norman was a fellow Fortian and family friend during his lifetime, so I thought it fitting to make a movie about him. I interviewed his wife Margaret, his daughter and early host of the show Rebecca and the show’s producer Bev Gledhill. Above all else, I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Squiggle himself.
